Paint Removal
Painted brickwork or stonework can be unsightly and always needs to be maintained which constantly costs money.
Did you know that the averaged terraced house that has painted exterior
walls is devalued by approximately £2,000 to £3,000.
Removing the paint by the chemical cleaning method means there is no damage to the brick work.
Any thickness of paint can be removed and should never be done using the sandblasting
method unless it is white wash, which is thick cement based render that can not be removed with the chemical cleaning process.
There is however a solution to whitewash removal as there is now a
chemical which can remove white wash but this can take 15 to 20 times
longer than normal chemical cleaning and it is very expensive.
We can not stress enough that you should NEVER use the
Sandblasting method on brick.
The ONLY time sandblasting can be used on brick is when
the brick is being prepared as a key for rendering.
As you can see from our website we are very experienced in everything
that we do and treat every job whether is it brick, stone or wood etc as
if it was our own.
